Your book is so very helpful! Can't wait to stop by at your bunny shop!

Hi Faye,
I just wanted to write a post to say that your site is extremely helpful. I have spent quite a few hours tonight reading through all of the pages!
Three weeks ago I was out for a walk when I found a domestic bunny sitting by the side of the Princes Hwy in Pakenham. I bent down and she hopped over to me. I picked her up and took her home. The following morning I printed off 300 found notices and spent the day delivering them to peoples letterboxes, but her owners never came forward. Five days later I decided that her original owners were not going to come forward, so we had a new pet! I booked her into the Melbourne Rabbit Clinic where I learnt that she was pregnant (she hid it very well, and I have never owned a rabbit before so I wasn't sure what to look for!). Two days later she gave birth to seven little kits. Sadly one passed away, but the other 6 are doing extremely well. They are two weeks and two days old, all growing very quickly with fat little bellies. Mummy bun (now named Binky) and all of the babies will be off to be desexed as early as possible!
We have decided that the bunnies will be kept indoors as we live opposite a lilypond, so mosquito levels are greater than other areas. So far we have built a large indoor enclosure for the bunnies (4mtrs x 3mtrs), but we will extend this after we (hopefully!) rehome some of the babies. Binky has free roam of our kitchen, dining room and family room though, and is only confined to her enclosure during the night and about 2 hrs each day.
Your shop looks amazing! I will have to send hubby for a visit sometime soon, as I unfortunately work every Saturday.
Sorry for the long post!
Kind Regards,

Hi Ana
Yes you can have a female rabbit with a desexed male
Do not put a baby rabbit with am adult rabbit, so if your female is a baby, wait until it is older to put them together.
After desexing, a male rabbit may still be fertile for 4-6 weeks
There will still be occasional mounting between them to test their dominance, but if they like eachother, they will spend a happy life together. The female may want to get pregnant, so she may bother him with her advances. You may decide to have her desexed too
Best wishes Faye

Hi Faye, We purchased our dear little bunny from you last saturday and she has settled in at home very well. Lauren named her Milly. She loves coming out for a run for a couple of hours before and after school. We are constantly referring to your e-book. Everytime I suggest a different vegetable etc, Lauren says "Check the Bunny book first Mum!" Thanks for your advice it ahs been great. Regards Fiona & Lauren

Hi Faye, Just wanted to say I LOVE your Ebook and i think everyone should have to read it before they get themself a pet bunny
Im not looking for ANOTHER pet bunny just yet as i already have 2, But I will certainly be in contact when i am looking for one, I love my bunnies and alot of people think im crazy for letting them sleep inside at night, But as i say to them.......... I wouldnt make my kids sleep outside at night, why should the bunnies??
oh btw the kids get worried if they are outside when its nearly dark now, they would be very grumpy if it was all night
haha take care........ LOVE YOUR BUNNIES! xx

Thankyou for some great bunny information! Much appreciated as I am just starting out. Thankyou kindly
